In partnership with the WNCC Resource Center, we are committed to providing webinars as a response to the needs of Youth & Children's Ministry Leaders we encounter on a regular basis. COHORTS
Cohorts are a community oriented experience intended to nurture
and support one's personal, professional, and spiritual wellbeing.
Currently Meeting:
Newbie Youth Ministry Cohort
led by Shannon LeMaster-Smith & Margie Ligon
This Cohort is for persons new to Youth Ministry (zero-seven years). We explore call and gifts, FACT (Finance, Administration, Communication, and Time management); Volunteers (recruiting, training, retaining), Values and Vision. Each participant meets with a ministry coach monthly. We meet every other month for six months (four sessions of a day and a half each).
Forming Spring 2024:
Children's Ministry Cohort
led by Shannon LeMaster-Smith, Jessica Dalton, and Scarlette Pless
This Cohort is for persons serving in Children's Ministry in the WNCCUMC. This Cohort focuses on building a support network to share joys and struggles in Children's Ministry while also covering some topical content (decided by participants). Participants will be assigned a ministry coach to meet with monthly. Registration now open! Participation is limited to 15 people.

Youth Ministry Cohort

This Cohort is for persons serving in Youth Ministry in the WNCCUMC. This Cohort focuses on nurturing a support network to share joys and struggles in Youth Ministry while also covering some topical content (decided by participants).
