CCYM
The CCYM mission is to find ways to encourage young people to follow Jesus, make disciples, and to transform the world.
The Conference Council on Youth Ministries is a leadership team of youth and adults from all over the Conference who come together to share and develop resources/events for youth ministries. In addition, the CCYM receives grant applications and awards Youth Service Funds each year for things like local missions and community outreach.
Are you a high school youth who is a confirmed member of a United Methodist Church in Western NC?
-do you like to share ideas?
-do you think outside the box?
-are you organized and/or like to plan things?
-are you energetic and like to meet new people?
-are you quiet and love to help behind the scenes?
Leaders come in many different forms. Serving on CCYM is a great opportunity to work out some leadership muscles and have fun serving alongside other youth.
