Project AGAPE
4/2/2024 - IMPORTANT CHANGES TO DONATION OF USED GOODS TO ARMENIA
Due to a new tax levied by the Armenian government, Project AGAPE will discontinue sending used items to Armenia. If you or your church have collected used items, we ask that you donate those items to a local charity of your choice.
Project AGAPE will continue to ship new donations, including Christmas boxes.
Since WNCC is hosting General Conference, we will not be doing a Spring collection. The Fall collection (new items only) will be September 23-27, 2024.

Young Clergy Pilgrimage to Armenia
Join us for a trip to Armenia to visit with our ministry partners at Project AGAPE. We will explore the rich history of Christianity in Armenia, visiting many monasteries and holy sites. We will also have time to get to know our Project AGAPE Staff, learn about the ministries they provide, and with the opportunity to work alongside them.

Mission Response Center
The Mission Response Center (MRC) receives and distributes humanitarian aid items, serves as a depot center for UMCOR, and offers staging for Disaster Response. The MRC also offers space to for Project AGAPE Christmas boxes and other supplies for Armenia.
The MRC is currently not accepting used items for Project AGAPE. The only current needs we are accepting are new bedding items and pots/pans.
Local churches or volunteer groups/individuals are needed to help sort mission materials. To schedule a date to volunteer, please contact Ben Rogers, 828-478-1019.
Visit the Mission Response Center page for drop-off hours.
