Date of Death: 10/20/2023 | Date of Birth: 2/6/1934; | ClergyWe have received word of the Friday, October 20, 2023 death of Rev. Oland Bernis Isenhour of Statesville. Olin was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Shirlie Simmons Isenhour. He is survived by four children: Terri Watt (Darrell), Philip Isenhour (Annette), Lisa Isenhour (Steve), and Brian Isenhour; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Margie Isenhour; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 24, at 3:00pm at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 607 Bethlehem Road, Statesville, after which Olin was laid to rest in the church cemetery. The family received friends on Monday, October 23 from 6-8pm in the Christian Life Center of Bethlehem UMC.
