Date of Death: 12/2/2023 | Date of Birth: 4/23/1935; | ClergyWe have received word of the Saturday, December 2, 2023 death of Rev. Richard Dale Hilton of Kernersville. He is survived by his wife, Margie Crafton Hilton; two sons, Richard “Rick” Jr. Hilton (Mary) and Dennis Roy Hilton (Sherry); one daughter, Jenny Lail (Scott); two sisters-in-law, Rebecca Hilton and Mary Lou Hilton; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray and Charles. A celebration of life service will be conducted at Main Street United Methodist Church in Kernersville, on Sunday, December 10 at 2:00pm, with the Rev. Dr. Mike Gehring and the Rev. Dr. Al Ward conducting the service. The burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery. Afterwards, the family will receive friends in the Commons Area.
