Date of Death: 4/23/2024 | Date of Birth: 8/4/1941; | ClergyWe have received word of the Tuesday, April 23, 2024 death of the Rev. Clay Johnson Morgan. Clay is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hazel King Morgan; son: Ryan Morgan (Casey); daughters: Kerri Mosley (Mike) and Cherri Johnson (Joey); and grandchildren: Mollie, Katherine, Benjamin, Jacob, Hunter, and Braxton. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4th at 2:00pm at First UMC, 29 Newfound Street, Canton. Visitation with the family will immediately follow the service at the church until 5:30pm.
