Date of Death: 10/6/2023 | Date of Birth: 6/20/1935; | ClergyWe have received word of the Friday, October 6, 2023 death of Rev. William Henry Dingus of Winston-Salem. Bill was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Ann Hightower Dingus; and his son, William Derek Dingus. He is survived by his second wife, Charlotte Stills Calloway; his daughter, Maria Dingus Carter; and his granddaughter, Maddie. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 1:00pm in the sanctuary of Mt. Pleasant Church, 6516 Old Greensboro Rd, Thomasville, officiated by the Revs. Chris Clontz and Ryan Mendenhall. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, 6-8pm at J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home, 122 W Main St, Thomasville.
