Date of Death: 9/26/2016 | Date of Birth: 5/24/1927; | ClergyWe have only just received word of the Monday, September 26, 2016 death of Ms. Jean Marie Morgan of the Brooks-Howell Home, Asheville. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Doris Morgan; two nephews; and a grand-niece. A memorial service was held in North Carolina. Jean was interred in the Mount Pleasant Lutheran Cemetery in Chicora, PA.
Ms. Morgan’s service with the conference was: 77 Exec Director of Housekeeping, Brooks-Howell Home; 87 Receptionist-Hostess, Brooks-Howell Home; 92 Retired. She was consecrated a Diaconal Minister in 1977, though first commissioned in Western Pennsylvania in 1956.
