Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Dr. William W. Butler; daughter, Lisa Kathleen Butler; sister, Rosalyn Johnson Glaze; and brother, William Douglas Johnson. She is survived by her son, Laurence (Larry) David Butler; niece, Lynn Glaze Pihera (Guy); dedicated care giver, Frankie Zink; and several great nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held at Trinity United Methodist Church, West Columbia, SC on Saturday, October 28, at 3:00pm.
