Mrs. Lorene Ferree

We have received word of the Sunday, October 29, 2023 death of Mrs. Lorene Marie Koonts Ferree of Nashville.  Lorene was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Sulon G. Ferree, and by her sister, Genny Contrell (and husband, Rufus).  She is survived by two sons, the Rev. John Ferree (wife, Anne) and David Ferree; grandchildren: Matthew (Kara), Elizabeth Anne (Chris), and Mary Catherine (Adam); great-grandchildren: Jim, Liam, Sloane, Nolan, Mackenley, and Hadly; niece Anne (Ron), nephew Robert (Marilyn), and many great nieces and nephews.  A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 4 at 11:00am at West End UMC in Nashville, Tenn.  This coming Saturday, November 11, a service of interment will be held at 3:00pm at Forsyth Memorial Park, 3771 Yadkinville Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106.
