Mrs. Kathryn Champion

We have received word of the Friday, January 12, 2024 death of Mrs. Kathryn Lee McCraw Champion of Clyde.  Kathryn is survived by her husband, the Rev. Dr. Buddy J. Champion; two sons: the Rev. Stan Champion and Blake Champion; daughter-in-law, Barbie Champion; three grandchildren: Justin, Brittney (Ethan), and Jaylon; great-grandchild, Emma; and surviving sisters, Elaine Curtis (Gene) and Edith Gardner (Wayne).  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 2:00pm in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home, 296 N Main St, Waynesville, NC 28786, with Pastor Harry Worley officiating.  Visitation will be 1:00-2:00pm, prior to the service.
