Mrs. Cynthia Fletcher

We have received word of the Thursday, October 26, 2023 death of Mrs. Cynthia Clark Fletcher of Valdese.  Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Larry Wayne Fletcher; her son, Hugh Clark Fletcher; and grandson-in-law, Kevin Dana Mahorney.  She is survived by her daughter, Jeanene Fletcher Burris (Ray); daughter-in-law, Teresa Fletcher; grandson, Matthew (Skylar); granddaughters, Cindy (Bryan), Jenny (Kevin), Sara (Kevin), Jane (Kevin), and Winnifred Marianne; great-grandchildren, Thomas, Cora, Ophelia, Lilly, Remie, Charlotte, Jonathan, Larkin, and Louisa; and special friend and caregiver, Donna Rhoney.  An interment service was held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 11:00am at Burke Memorial Park Cemetery, Morganton, followed by a 12-noon memorial service at First UMC of Valdese, with the Rev. Bobby Hallyburton officiating.  The family received friends in the fellowship hall after the service.
