Mrs. Carol Currie

We have received word of the Monday, November 13, 2023 death of Mrs. Linda Carol Smith Currie of Winston-Salem.  Carol is survived by her husband, the Rev. William C. Currie; two son, Curtis Currie (Tara) and Tim Currie (Carrie); daughter, Carolene Martin (Glenn); grandchildren, Ashley (Michael), Shelby, Sarah, Rebekah, Zeb, and Luke; great-grandchild, James; sisters, Kathy Moore (Jeff) and JoAnn Hopkins (Mike); and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Smith, and sister-in-law, Wanda.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 2:00pm at New Hope Methodist Church, 5125 Shattalon Dr, Winston-Salem, NC, 27106, with Chaplain Drew Southern officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00pm.
