Adapt! Leading Off the Map 2024
December 1, 2023
A LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE
Designed for churches and clergy seeking to improve skills around leading change. One of the lessons churches learned from COVID is that we CAN change when we have to. Yet change remains difficult for many congregations to embrace. This cohort provides a toolbox of practices and skills to help clergy lead intentional change in their congregations. The three topics we will focus on include:
- Influencing Change in the Local Church
- Helping Churches Set Direction
- Empowering Lay Leadership
The facilitators are Rev. Lory Beth Huffman, Appalachian District Superintendent, and Rev. Rob Parsons, pastor of WithALL Congregation in Columbus, NC. There will be some guest facilitators as well.
