Bishop Carter invites the WNCC to participate in five spiritual practices this Lenten season:
1. Read the Gospel of Mark
2. Pray the Prayer of Humble Access (United Methodist Hymnal, page 30)
3. Read and study the MLK, Jr. sermon "A Knock at Midnight"
4. Respond to food insecurity of college students by taking up an offering
5. Have a meal with a spiritual companion, mentor, covenant group, etc. and talk about your spiritual journey
