Louis Timberlake recently completed his MDiv program at Duke and is a candidate for Comissioning as a Provisional Elder in the WNCC.  These videos were the result of an independent study this semester with Dr. Stephen Gunter in Church Planting.

Session 2 | Casting the Vision (20:32)

This video explores what it means to cast a vision for a new UM faith community, including the people involved in the visioning process and the best practices for developing a vision.

Session 3 | Resourcing the Vision (14:22)

This video explores the ways in which church planters obtain the financial and relational resources necessary to start a new UM faith community.

Session 4 | Realizing the Vision (27:38)

This video explores the process of moving a new UM faith community from a vision to a reality, including the various strategies, the best practices, and the potential pitfalls involved.
